Anna Georghallides was born in Nicosia, Cyprus and has been a photographer for over 10 years. She has built a successful career in a very competitive field by creating a relaxed atmosphere and a good rapport with her clients who appreciate her relaxed style and philosophy: the simplest photographs are usually the best.

Anna prefers to work on location with as much natural light is available or in her client’s home where she interacts with her subjects by chatting and listening, helping them to relax in order to capture their true personality and honesty as spontaneously as possible. No hassle, no fuss, she arrives on location and takes great images with whatever is on hand, based on the message needed to be communicated. Anna prefers to avoid harsh lighting conditions and is not a huge fan of the studio environment, though she uses one when necessary.

Anna thrives in the variety of the projects she tackles and has a diverse client base, both locally and abroad, with an ever increasing amount of celebrity work. Her clients include many production companies, international and local musicians, actors, dancers, theatre groups, orchestras, dance schools, large organisations, artists and local police. Events include concerts, operas, plays, ballet, fashion shows, exhibitions, conferences, conventions, formula sports and air shows to name but a few. Her work has also been featured in various books, magazines, on DVDs as slide shows and is frequently used in the media. Anna has a passion for her work and appreciates constructive criticism: it’s the way I improve - the greatest aspect of this job is that there is always room to grow, no two shoots are alike and I get to meet some wonderful people.
